Convert between Unix epoch time and ISO-8601, in UTC and any IANA time zone. Deterministic, no network. First-party on grokzilla.shop.

value (required: number, numeric string, or ISO-8601 string up to 64 characters), tz (optional IANA zone, default UTC).

Numbers are read by magnitude: below 1e11 seconds, below 1e14 milliseconds, below 1e17 microseconds, otherwise nanoseconds (input_kind says which). An ISO string without an offset is read in tz. epoch_s is an integer for whole seconds, else a decimal with millisecond precision.

Errors (not charged)

• 422 invalid_params: missing value, booleans/arrays/null, empty tz, over the size caps.
• 400: unknown_tz, bad_iso, bad_value, out_of_range (outside years 1 to 9999).
